Metropolitan Police support staff: 2.5% pay increase

    Following agreement in May 2008, Metropolitan Police administrative and support staff and police community support officers (PCSOs) have received a basic pay award of 2.5%, backdated to 1 August 2007.

    Location allowances were also increased by 2.5% from 1 August 2007, and by an additional £80 a year for each of the two zones from 1 April 2008.
