Next has awarded an across-the-board rise of 3.5% to around 30,000 retail staff and managers, effective from 1 February 2005. The fashion retailer has awarded the same increase to around 2,000 call centre staff, who work on the Next Directory mail order service, and to 1,700 head office staff.
