Scottish agricultural workers: 4.4% on minimum rates

  • The latest wages order published by the Scottish Agricultural Wages Board increased the minimum pay rate for agricultural workers in Scotland by 4.4% from 1 January 2007.

    The increase brings the minimum rate of pay for an employee with more than 26 weeks’ continuous employment to £5.70 per hour (£5.35 per hour for those with up to 26 weeks’ continuous employment).
