Under the terms of a settlement negotiated by the Scottish Print Employers' Federation (SPEF) and the graphical, print and paper section of Amicus, minimum grade rates for some 8,000 Scottish print workers employed in general printing companies have increased by 3.02% with effect from 1 July 2005. Craftworkers (grade B) - the largest category of employees covered by the deal - received a rise of £7.45 a week, bringing their minimum weekly rate to £253.99.
