Waitrose: up to 5% increase in contractual pay for store staff

    Around 39,000 staff employed by Waitrose, the supermarket division of John Lewis, received pay increases worth between 3% and 5%, effective from 1 April 2007.

    For store employees below management level, this year's pay review resulted in a 5% overall increase to contractual pay.
