Staff at the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) now receive wage slips "clearly showing the employer pension contribution" and are being offered advice sessions to help them plan ahead. This was revealed by Andrew Smith, Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, at a recent Confederation of British Industry pensions conference and by Malcolm Wicks, Minister for Pensions, at the "Saver summit" organised by the Association of British Insurers.
