Check that a statutory request in relation to study or training complies with the requirements
Key points
Eligible employees in organisations employing at least 250 employees have a statutory right to make a request in relation to study or training.
A statutory request must be in writing and must state that it is a request made under the relevant legislation.
It must contain certain specified details, including where and when the proposed training would take place and how the employee thinks it would improve their effectiveness in the employer's business.
