Can employees make as many statutory requests in relation to study or training as they want?

No, an employee can make only one statutory request in relation to study or training under s.63D of the Employment Rights Act 1996 in a 12-month period. This is regardless of whether or not a further request would be in relation to different training.

An employer can consider a request made less than 12 months after a previous request, but is under no statutory obligation to do so.
