Podcast: Pregnancy and maternity discrimination
On this week's XpertHR Weekly, we discuss the key findings from the recent survey by the Government and Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) into pregnancy and maternity discrimination at work. We look at the rights of pregnant employees and employees on maternity leave or shared parental leave, which include rights in relation to time off for antenatal appointments, and provide practical advice to overcome some of the issues identified by the survey, including the importance of communication.
Presenter Susan Dennehy is joined by Felicity Alexander. Edited and produced by Laura Kimpton.
